The Summer Music program has been a part of the Quincy Public Schools Music Department since it was developed by Paul Morrison in the 1930’s. During the summer of 2005 the Summer Music Institute was added to create an opportunity for students to play music in a fun, camp setting in a concentrated week long format. Since then we have continued to offer the camps for Concert Band and Orchestra featuring the talents of students from Quincy and surrounding towns. The success of the program is a result of the dedication of students and parents to keeping music in their lives. We are excited to once again offer this educational camp for Summer 2024. It is a perfect opportunity for students in the Quincy area to work with distinguished guest conductors from the Midwest. All classes will be held at Quincy High School and will be taught by licensed music teachers.

The Summer Singers Music Camp has created an opportunity for choir students to sing and perform in a fun, camp setting in a concentrated format. The success of the program is a result of the dedication of students and parents to keeping music in their lives. We are excited to once again offer this educational camp for Summer 2024. It is a perfect opportunity for students in the Quincy area to sharpen their vocal skills and make new friends! All classes will be held at Baldwin Elementary and will be taught by a licensed music teacher.
